“You may have passed by the newspaper dispensers near Miller Park in downtown Chattanooga.
Soon, a similar machine could be added on-site that is intended to help people experiencing an overdose.
That's as the city of Chattanooga reaches an agreement with a company that wants to provide free Narcan to the public.
Narcan is a drug that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose.
Chattanooga city council approved an agreement Tuesday night with the non-profit Launch Pad, which will allow them to install boxes of Narcan at Miller Park.”
